Modules and plugins

Module system

MuseDock CMS uses a modular system where every feature is an independent module:

  • Blog - Article publishing system
  • Media Manager - Media file manager
  • AI Writer - AI writing assistant
  • AI Image - AI image generation
  • Custom Forms - Custom forms
  • Image Gallery - Image galleries
  • React Sliders - Interactive sliders
  • Elements - Reusable content blocks
  • WP Importer - Import from WordPress
  • Musedock Shop - Built-in online store
  • Search Console - SEO of all your domains from Google Search Console (read the guide)

Structure of a module

Each module in modules/{slug}/ contains:

  • module.json - Module metadata
  • bootstrap.php - Registration and initialization
  • routes.php - Module routes
  • controllers/ - Controllers
  • models/ - Data models
  • views/ - Blade views

Plugins

Plugins extend functionality at system level. They live in plugins/ and can be:

  • superadmin - Superadmin panel features
  • tenant-shared - Shared between tenants

Shared DNS accounts

Plugins and modules that need Cloudflare or another DNS provider (Domain Manager, Cloud, Search Console…) do not keep keys of their own: they all read them from the single registry in Settings → DNS accounts. More in the DNS accounts guide.
